Just beyond the meadow,

and way up in the sky,

is a little garden,

where bees pass on by.

Now there are two flowers,

that I hold very near.

One called Iris,

and the other one called Violet.

I once held them in my hands,

only for them to blow away.

Though, the echo of their smile,

is still here today.

And in this garden,

that I speak of,

the willows don't weep,

and the animals are free.

So you My child sitting there,

you just remember

of the Gardener who lives there,

for He's got the whole world in His hands.

A Beautiful Day Without You

To awake from a cooing dove,
Oh' this land is sweet my love!
To hear the brook's quiet chatter,
To see the hares skitter scatter.

The prairies full of wildflowers,
The sky's cold fresh showers.
Nothing's quite as great as this,
Except, of course, your sweet lips.

The willows sway and sway,
They sway and sing all day.
Their voices would sound marvelous
with yours, my love,
Like the heavenly voices from above.

When it's night and time to rest,
The dove returns to it's nest.
I sit in my bed and hear the
whistle of the train,
My love, when will I see you again?

Tough Love

A fray hath caused this awful coil,
But I oft ponder what t'would be like to have thee.
Though, I desire to rub thine feet with oil,
Thou wilt not let me.

All I want is to share His dote.
So I can see thee again.
A great many letters I wrote.
For it only to cause more pain.

Wherefore do thy treat me with such vile actions?
I shant pall myself in those thoughts though.
For now I've just had revelation,
I need to let thou go.

I will always love thee so.
Now it's time to let thou go.
